Don’t even try to tell me about any “good” that religion has done.
All the hospitals, food pantries, or “personal peace” they claim to provide, doesn’t make up for the evil.
The latest is all the pedophilia and cover-ups coming out of Pennsylvania. Read this — if you have the stomach for it.

Priests raping and beating kids, sharing porno pictures of their victims, arranging abortions for girls they have raped… Then the fucking bishops and cardinals covered it up.
But the worst part… they silently put the pedophiles back into new parishes. They prayed the pedophiles would get better. Only to have them prey on a whole new crop of kids. So much for the power of prayer.
They repeated that cycle over and over with victims counting in the 1000’s.
If the Catholics are fucking kids at this rate in the Quaker State, what the hell are they doing in a pit like New Jersey?
They covered up so well, the statue of limitations has run out on almost every case.
Our prisons should be full of those fucking predator priests. Only a handful will ever face trial.
And those church leaders? They get promotions, moved up to Washington DC or the Vatican. The worst that happens to them is they are sent to a life of “prayer and penance” on a full pension. That’s called a fucking vacation.
Pennsylvania instituted a state-run investigation. But even these numbers just come from the church’s documents. They didn’t go looking for new cases.
Wipe that smug look off your face, you other holy rollers — it ain’t just the Catholics. Evangelics and other places of indoctrination face the same problems.
And when they aren’t fucking your kids,they are stealing your money.
Catholics are just easier to track because they have a hierarchy. Other delusional sects are basically one-offs, and it’s easy for their predophiles to disappear and be forgotten. There’s no central leaders to keep records.
I get that I’m an outlier. I believe the whole premise of religion is just a basket of deplorable bullshit — these “holy men” are just liars who manipulate the vulnerable (children and old people) for their own means.
But even if you believe the bullshit (pick your flavor — Jesus rolled a rock as he reincarnated himself; or Mohammed flew to heaven on a white horse; or only Joseph Smith could read golden tablets) I can’t see how you can believe any “good” they do overcomes a centuries-old pattern of pedophilia.
They often point to all the charitable work. Catholic Charities has an annual budget of about $3.6 billion — the church has already paid out $2.6 billion in settlements to keep pedophilia victims quiet. Ohh, and lots of pedophilia happens at charitable events. Let’s not forget that.
They point to their hospitals. But there are plenty of secular hospitals – – that don’t deny legal services like abortion. Ohh, and the pedophilia happens in hospitals too — one 7-year-old girl was raped by a priest after her tonsillectomy. Let’s not forget that.
And they point to their schools. Fucking catholic schools aren’t any better than public schools. The only difference is the Catholics kick kids out for any reason (and drum the guilt of ever-lasting damnation into even the most innocent kid’s head). Ohh, and the pedophilia happens mostly in schools. Let’s not forget that.
Here’s a direct quote from a Catholic Priest on NPR about money and law suits — the only justice we have left. I was listening to this shit while driving from Phoenix to Tucson. I almost killed everybody on the State Route 87. I was so pissed off I couldn’t see straight:

Every part of that statement is bullshit. Those donations are tax-deductible. The Catholic church is getting our money. Much of that money could support government programs through taxes — instead people are shifting it to the Catholic fucking church so priests can molest children.
Let’s end their tax-exempt status. We, the people who control our government, can use the tax money to support victims.
And let’s look at the “wealth” of the Catholic church. They can sell off their golden chalices, their stained glass windows and all the other fucking extravagant “extras” they have lying around every church, every bishop’s office and the Vatican.
Fuck, they could just sell off some of their un-used land. They have to close parishes in Boston, New York and San Francisco, anyway. No one is going to those churches — in those towns they are too busy butt-fucking (other consenting adults) on Sunday morning.
The Pope is one of the top 3 landholders on Earth. He could sell the entire Vatican City and downsize to a couple of huts in Peru. Why the fuck do you need land and buildings to be “spiritual?” Your imaginary Jesus didn’t even own a Tuffshed…
Fuck you — the money would have to come from the “people in the pews”. You lying, fucking, pedophile-protecting, bullshit-artist bastards…
