I’m starting to believe I’m the most popular person on the planet. A white man living in swinging Maricopa County for the swinging state of Arizona.

On paper, I’m a swinging vote — I can go either way at anytime. I’m a registered Republican but in 2016, 2020 and 2022, I made the mistake of donating to some Democrats.

Of course I only registered as a Republican, I would never vote for those future fascists. But they don’t know that. (I hope the ballot is still secret).

Now these fucking politicians will not leave me alone.

Just a typical Saturday morning set of messages. Bob Dunst had it right, but I don’t think he has a clue what was beneath him (pretty typical for Bob).

Trump “Please”. I have no idea what those messages could be — other than a new way for the Orange grifter to beg or try to sell me some other bullshit (bible, shoes, bit coin…).

I’ve spent the past month, deleting and reporting all the Republican messages as junk. But they just move one number over from their 771 area code and send me the same old shit from their plus one.

I tell the Democrats to “STOP”, but ACT Blue cannot be stopped. I asked them directly and they said, if I ever answered a survey or donated through a different link each “affiliated organization” has to be canceled individually.

They lying.

I didn’t communicate with 20 different organizations and only donated through one — but it gives them cover to share my number like they are writing it on a bathroom wall.

And my wife — that clever little minx. She made donations and filled out surveys with my phone number. How do I know? Half the phone calls and texts start with “Lynn”.

As our next president would say. “This mother fucka“.

All the Republican messages are beginning for my vote and my money. The Democrats only send me messages asking for money.

Democrats beg

Every Democratic message is “200-percent match,” 400-percent match” or “800-percent match.” Which only goes to show they have plenty of donations already. You think I’m stupid enough to believe your corporate overlords would not give you the matching funds unless I put $20 on my credit card? God Damn Democrats you have a low opinion of me.

But it’s higher than Republicans.

They think I’m too stupid to know how the economy is going.

How dumb do you think I am?

Did you see the unemployment numbers this year? Have you seen GDP? Have you seen my 401k increases? Did you notice inflation slowed down? Did you notice wages are up? Did you think I missed the rate cut from the Fed?

I’m not saying housing, costs of childcare and lack of pension plans are not problems for younger people. But when did the Republicans do anything about those problems? When did they even give a shit about childcare or pension plans?

By the way, I saw your 62 court cases in 2020 you lost. There’s not a shred of evidence that voter fraud had any impact on anything. Just like there’s not a shred of evidence you ever had a healthcare plan — nor even a “concept of a plan.”

What petition? To whom? You can’t have a national law on elections, state control elections. This is straight out of the scammer’s playbook for phishing emails.

And… Voter ID is another bullshit story of voter fraud. It’s just a ploy to make it more difficult for the poor to vote, and has its roots in Jim Crow. Another GOP solution to a non-existent problem like:

  • inheritance tax taking family farms (never happened)
  • welfare queens defrauding the system (Brett Farve and his ilk have stolen far more than any welfare recipients)
  • recent efforts in the House to make it illegal for illegal migrants to vote (it’s already illegal and hardly ever happens).

Here’s what her tax plan would actually do: “upper-income individuals would pay more taxes, while the middle class and lower-income people would pay less.”

Which would be nice, but let’s face it. Never going to happen. Congress controls tax plans, and no common sense tax plan that takes us back to 1950’s rates is ever going to get through the lobbyists and corporations that control Congress.

As to Congress, I get nothing from the House race. No texts, no calls, no ads on my TV. Why? Because I’m in a ruby-red congressional district, so my vote counts for nothing. I can’t stop Andy Biggs by myself. But at least for that race they leave me alone.

This text shit has been going on for more than a year. Ridiculous. Elections should be weeks — not months or years. I could tolerate this harassment in the name of democracy for a while. But even a swinger like me can’t handle this kind of attention for years on end.

I really never wanted to be popular. God damn I can’t wait until this election is over.
