I have been disappointed in my country before, but these past few weeks are the first time I been ashamed of America.

If we truly are a country of the people, by the people and for the people, the American people suck.

We returned a felon to office who is threatening to start wars with Canada and Denmark. Not just trade wars — actual threats of violence.

A complete asshole who can’t even mourn people killed in a plane crash without turning it into a racist rant and finding scapegoats among ethnic and other minorities.

A cabinet that has a prerequisite for office seekers to approve of sedition and the big lie about election fraud. Bonus points for being accused of sexual assault or treason (Tulsi Gabbard is called “Our Girlfriend” on Russian TV).

Give a nazi salute twice, and you get the keys to the treasury.

Now with multiple open ways to bribe the President:

  • Buy his or Melanie’s bitcoin and 80 percent of the value goes straight to Trump
  • Buy his meme stock in Truth Social to inflate its price
  • Donate to his unchecked inaugural fund or buy a shit ton of his bibles or other bullshit merch
  • The list of grifts seems endless and is still growing

The billionaires had bribed their way through the Supreme Court and bought off politicians with political donations. Now they openly threaten office holders with primaries and burying them under tens of millions of donations to any made up opponents. (see Joni Ernst support of Pete Hegseth.)

Almost as bad is Democrats voting for cabinet picks, feeling lost and not having a clue how to fight back.

The corporate media has given up on journalism and is paying off the boss through lawsuits and sane-washing stories.

I used to think we could hide behind slogans of the “resistance” or the “rebellion” or “not my president” to assuage our collaboration.

But we the people have to own this now. We the people voted the orange traitor to this office. He is only doing what he told us he would do.

Until we find a collective spirit to impeach and imprison this shit stain on our history, we cannot call ourselves good people.

Everyday he violates a new law that should get him impeached from ordering an end to birthright citizenship (and people to violate the constitution to follow that order) to breaking his own treaty with Mexico and Canada, to illegally purging civil servants and impounding funds Congress has approved.

We cannot call this a “good country” when it has become a bad actor on the world stage — treating “Canada” the way Putin treated Ukraine right before he invaded.

If we are to return to being decent people, we have to condemn this government immediately.

We must rid ourselves of these nazi’s, thugs, and billionaire oligarchs.

As long as they lead our government of the people, by the people and for the people, we cannot call ourselves decent people.
